Integration Courses
20 Lesson Hours Per week
The integration course program covers a total of 600 lesson hours plus 100 orientation course hours. It lasts eight months without interruption. The courses have four 45-minute lessons per day and usually take place from 09:00 to 12:15 or from 12:30 to 15:45.
At this time (most of) the courses are still online because of the COVID-19 situation.

Participants with previous knowledge of the German language can enter advanced modules after a free placement test and a personal consultation.

What do the integration courses cover?
Courses on behalf of the Federal Office for Migration
Iberika is an authorized course provider and regularly conducts integration courses in Berlin. Every foreigner who lives permanently in Germany can apply for admission to the integration course.
Language Course: 600 Lesson Hours
In six modules of 100 hours each, the participants’ German language skills are extended to language level B1. Participants with previous knowledge of the German language can enter higher modules after a placement test and a personal consultation.
Orientation Course: 100 Lesson Hours
As an integral part of the integration course, the orientation course provides knowledge about German history, politics and the legal system. This course prepares our students for the citizenship test in Germany.
Course cost covered by the Federal Ministry for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and
The costs for participation in the integration course are largely covered by the BAMF. More information can be found in the BAMF integration portal. For recipients of unemployment benefit II or social assistance, the cost contribution is waived.
Integration Course Certificate
At the end of the integration course, official language tests are taken. The integration course lasts eight months without interruption. Upon successful completion of the entire course, the participant receives the “Certificate Integration Course”. We are an official examination office and offer examinations for every course level.
